United Kingdom, Strike, Level 2: Countrywide rail strikes on several dates between 16 March and 1 April – United Kingdom [Update 2]

Update 2023-03-16: According to reports, the strike began as planned on Thursday (16 March). It has been reported that many rail services are expected to start operating later and end earlier today. Many rail services are reportedly operating between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm (local time). Reportedly, around 40 to 50% of scheduled trains are expected to run countrywide, however in some areas no rail services will operate. The London Underground reportedly resumed services at 7:30 am (local time) following their own strike on Wednesday (15 March), as a result delays are to be expected.
