Fifteen airlines primarily operating regional routes, including the three home-based carriers: HK Express Airways, Hong Kong Airlines and Greater Bay Airlines, will relocate their check-in counters at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) from Terminal 1 (T1) to Terminal 2 (T2) in phases from 27 May 2026, when T2 passenger departure facilities begin operation. The whole relocation will be completed on 10 June 2026, ahead of the summer travel season.
