Update 2025-05-15: On Thursday night (14/15 May, local time), the Israeli armed forces again attacked several targets in the Gaza Strip. At least 13 people were killed in an airstrike in Chan Yunis, while another 35 people were killed in other attacks. In recent days, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had announced that the armed forces would continue to advance into the Gaza Strip in the coming days. Negotiations were also underway with various countries regarding the possible admission of people from the largely destroyed region. Both of these measures were met with considerable international criticism.
