Update 2026-03-31: According to the sources from Monday (30 March), several people were injured after falling shrapnel from a destroyed drone struck civilians in the Al-Karkh District, Baghdad, following the interception of an unmanned aerial vehicle by Iraqi air defences. Moreover, at least one person was injured in the al-Shaljiya area near the Green Zone after shrapnel from an air defence interception of a drone targeting the US embassy fell into a residential neighbourhood. A site belonging to the Popular Mobilization Forces was shelled in the Al-Karamah district along the road to Fallujah, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage details. Meanwhile, Iraq’s security forces shot down a drone over Al-Sulaymaniyah Province.
