Update 2026-05-04: Several locations in southern Lebanon were affected overnight into Monday (4 May) following reported Israeli airstrikes and shelling, including the towns of Khiam and Qantara. Artillery shelling was also reported near Safad El Battikh, Yater, Majdel Selm, and Chaitiyeh. Israeli drones were reportedly active over the region throughout the night, with flares also dropped over Braachit. Israeli forces also issued forced displacement warnings for residents of Qana, Debaal, Qaaqaait al-Jisr, and Srifa, ordering civilians to move at least a thousand metres away from the affected areas ahead of a threatened attack.
