Update 2026-06-08 (2): Following flight cancellations in the capital Tehran and in the west of Iran, Mashhad Shahid Hasheminejad International Airport (MHD) in the north-east of the country has also ceased operations. This was reported by Iranian media. Only shortly before, flights had been cancelled until further notice at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) and Mehrabad International Airport (THR) as well as in the west of the country.
