Update 2026-07-16: According to the latest reports, Kuwait’s air defence systems intercepted Iranian drones on Thursday (16 July) following another night of US strikes on Iranian territory. The army stated that explosions heard across the country were caused by air defence systems engaging hostile targets. Additionally, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that it carried out a combined missile and drone attack on Ali Al Salem Air Base in Al Jahra Governorate.
