Update 2026-08-06: Several Israeli security officials were killed during combat operations in southern Lebanon on Thursday (6 August), as Israeli military operations against Hezbollah continued. Several people were also injured in Israeli airstrikes on Burj Shemali and al-Mansouri, while artillery shelling and machinegun fire reportedly targeted Majdal Zoun, Haddatha, Bayt al-Sayyad, and surrounding areas.
