Japan, Severe Weather, Level 3: Forecast: Tropical storm Chan-Hom expected to make landfall on 11 August over Honshu – Japan [Update 1]

Update 2026-08-10: Tropical Storm Chan-Hom was located east of Yokosuka on Monday (August 10) and continued moving in a northwesterly direction. The storm had maximum sustained wind speeds. As the system continues to move in a northwesterly direction, additional warnings are expected.
