2026-08-10: On Monday morning (10 August, local time), the industrial city of Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan) came under a massive attack by Ukrainian drones, according to official reports. Industrial facilities and civilian infrastructure were reportedly hit, resulting in several fatalities. The attack on the city, located about 1,600 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, was still ongoing at 8:30 am (local time). Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported a total of 456 drones intercepted or destroyed nationwide.
