Update 2026-08-24 (1): According to the sources from Sunday (23 August), torrential rain caused by Typhoon Narra triggered widespread flooding in Guangxi, over the weekend, forcing thousands of people to relocate. Water levels at multiple monitoring stations on multiple rivers exceeded warning thresholds, while parts of Chongzuo were inundated. The typhoon has also brought heavy rain to the nearby provinces of Hainan and Guangdong. Heavy rain is forecast to continue across Guangxi, Guangdong, Hainan and Fujian through Wednesday (26 August), with further flooding possible.
