United States, Demonstration / Riot, Level 3: Protests following deadly police-involved shooting near Minneapolis – United States [Update 1]

Update 2021-04-12: On Monday (12 April), a curfew from 07:00 p.m. on Monday (12 April) to 06:00 a.m. on Tuesday (13 April, local times) has been instituted for the counties of Hennepin, Ramsey, and Anoka. A state of emergency has been declared in both the city of Minneapolis and the city of St. Paul.

2021-04-12: On Sunday evening (11 April, local time), protests erupted in Brooklyn Center, northwest of Minneapolis, after a black man had been shot dead during a police operation. The police used tear gas and stun grenades. Further protests are to be expected.
Travellers are advised to exercise caution, to strictly avoid demonstrations, road blockades, large gatherings, and deployments of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
