Update 2021-04-27 (3): From 15 June, fairs are to be permitted again in yellow regions. Conferences will also be possible from 1 July.

Update 2021-04-27 (2): In the province of Bolzano (South Tyrol), a separate CoronaPass South Tyrol has been introduced, which among other things grants access to the indoor areas of restaurants, as well as sports and cultural facilities. The prerequisite is proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of recovery from COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen), no older than 72 hours. COVID-19 tests performed in other countries are recognised as equivalent.

Update 2021-04-27 (1): According to Austrian authorities, travellers with a “Green COVID-19 Certificate” are allowed to move between all zones (i.e. also orange or red zones). The prerequisite for obtaining the certificate is a vaccination against COVID-19 or recovery from COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen), no older than 48 hours. Certificates from other EU countries are recognised as equivalent, as are vaccinations carried out in third countries using a vaccine authorised in the EU.
