Update 2022-12-13: According to further media reports, Air Nostrum employees will also go on strike on 26 and 27 December, 29 December and 2 and 3 January.
2022-12-13: The ground staff as well as the pilots of the airline Air Nostrum have announced a nationwide strike on several days between 22 December and 8 january 2023 due to unfulfilled salary demands. Strike are planned between 22 and 23 December, 30 and 31 December, and 6 to 8 January 2023.
In case of a strike, major air traffic disruptions are to be expected. Delays and flight cancellations are likely. Before and after official strike hours, disruptions are also possible due to organisational reasons. Passengers are advised to contact their airline or tour operator about the current flight status in advance to their journey to the airport and to schedule additional time for their journey.
