Update 2023-08-21: According to the sources, evacuation orders were issued on Sunday (20 August) for the small community of Kakisa, residents living near the Kakisa River in the Northwest Territories. However, an evacuation alert was issued for Kelowna in British Columbia Province after the conditions started to improve after weather conditions were favourable and the fire gradually decreased.
