Update 2024-02-25 (5): According to the sources from Sunday (25 February), gun firings during violent clashes erupted between local gunmen and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) at checkpoints of SDF near Al-Jama’iya Al-Qadema Waterwheel northwestern of Al-Hawayj Town from the side of Al-Shuhayl town eastern of Deir ez-zor Governorate. No injuries were reported following the incident. Additionally, at least one security official was injured following an attack by ISIS cells in the vicinity of the Tel Salma area in Al-Salamiyah city of Hama Governorate. In addition, at least one security official was killed after ISIS militants violently attacked the Al-Shoula Desert south of Deir Ez-Zor.
Update 2024-02-25 (4): According to the sources from Sunday (25 February), the Syrian air defense forces repelled a terrorist drone attack on military and civilian facilities in the Hama Governorate. Reportedly, several drones were destroyed by the Syrian forces following the attack.
Update 2024-02-25 (3): According to the sources from Sunday (25 February), several members of the regime forces were killed following a gunfire incident with snipers affiliated with the Al-Fath Al-Mubin operations room on the frontline of Maarat Mokhas in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the second was killed on the frontline of Al-Ghab area in the western countryside of Hama. Additionally, regime forces responded by firing heavy artillery shells on the vicinity of Al-Fatirah, Kansafrah, and Al-Barah towns in the Jabal Al-Zawiyah area in the southern countryside of Idlib. However, the Syrian forces destroyed several weaponized drones, operated by terrorists, on Sunday (25 February) in the governorates of Hama and Idlib.
Update 2024-02-25 (2): Regime forces stationed along the Euphrates River launched attacks on the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Sunday (25 February) in the Diban and Al-Quriyah town, Deir ez-Zor Governorate. Reportedly, the attack prompted a swift mobilization by the SDF amid reports of a potential offensive targeting several towns in the region. Additionally, armed clashes were reported between regime forces and the SDF on Saturday (24 Februay) near the Euphrates River, specifically between the villages of Swiedan Shamiyah and Swiedan Jazzirah in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor Governorate. However, no casualties were reported other than material damage.
Update 2024-02-25 (1): According to sources from Saturday (24 February), at least one member of National Defence was killed following a violent attack by an ISIS militant in Mayadin town in Deir ez-Zor Governorate. Reportedly, the militant stole the victim’s weapon and fled to an unidentified location following the incident.
