2025-03-02: Clashes were reported on Sunday afternoon (2 March, local time) during a demonstration in Lorient in the Morbihan Department of Brittany Region. Widespread acts of vandalism, mortar fire, and stone-throwing targeting security forces were reported. Reportedly, the security forces used tear gas to disperse the crowd. Several people were reported detained.
