Update 2025-06-16: According to the latest reports, dozens of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) fighters were reportedly killed on Sunday (15 June) following heavy clashes with the Sudanese Armed Forces in northern and northeastern El Fasher, North Darfur. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) began the attack after targeting homes and displacement camps overnight with artillery and drones, forcing many residents to flee. Additionally, on Saturday (15 June), suicide drone strikes targeted the eastern part of the city.
