Update 2025-07-07 (2): Dozens of people died as of Monday afternoon (8 July, local time) in Texas, including the Kerr County. Heavy rainfall and ongoing flooding have complicated rescue efforts. A power outage was also reported in parts of the region. Camp Mystic, located along the Guadalupe River, was devastated by the floods.
Update 2025-07-07 (1): There is still a risk of flash flooding in some of the flooded areas on Monday (7 July) as the rainfall continues. It is difficult to predict which areas will receive the heaviest rainfall, but it is likely to be in the greater Austin, San Antonio and Kerrville area.
