2025-07-22: Heavy rainfall caused widespread flooding on Monday (21 July) across Suffolk, Norfolk, and Essex. In Suffolk, multiple reports of standing water on roads were reported, leading the authorities to advise drivers to exercise caution, particularly along the A1214 in Kesgrave and the A12 corridor. The White Horse pub in Chedgrave also shut down due to severe internal flooding. Greater Anglia trains between Wymondham and Norwich were temporarily halted due to water on the tracks. Power outages were reported in parts of Aylsham, Erpingham, Long Stratton, and surrounding villages. Flooding also affected Colchester Road, M&S Martlesham, and Waterloo Park in Norwich.
