Update 2025-08-15: Late Thursday evening (14 August, local time), Air Canada reported that flight cancellations in the run-up to the strike had to be extended, as large numbers of flight attendants were already not showing up for work.
Update 2025-08-13 (2): Air Canada has announced that it will cancel flights as early as Thursday (14 August) to reduce operations in an orderly fashion ahead of the strike. It is assumed that Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge will have to cease operations completely on Saturday (16 August) if no agreement can be reached.
