2025-12-11: Overnight Thursday (10/11 December, local time), Moscow’s capital airports Sheremetyevo (SVO), Domodedovo (DME), Vnukovo (VKO) and Zhukovsky (ZIA) were closed during the airspace closure due to drone attacks. At least 130 flights had to be diverted. Some were diverted to St. Petersburg, such as the Armenian Prime Minister’s plane. The disruptions were active for around seven hours.
Further air traffic disruptions are possible. Passengers travelling via the affected airport are advised to contact their airline or tour operator about the current flight status in advance to their journey to the airport.
