Update 2025-12-18: Shelling and drone activity were reported along several frontline areas of the Cambodia–Thailand border, despite reports of calm conditions in some locations. In the Pursat area, artillery fire and drone surveillance were reported during Wednesday afternoon (17 December, local time), while in Oddar Meanchey, shelling was reported. In Preah Vihear Province, intermittent shelling was reported in the An Ses area, while Banteay Meanchey remained calm. Cambodian security forces remained on high alert and returned fire in response to the reported incidents.
