2026-01-05: At least one person was critically injured on Sunday (4 January) at around 8:10 pm (local time) after miscreants allegedly hurled stones at Om Shakti devotees during a religious procession near the Om Shakti temple at VS Garden in Jagjivanram Nagar in Bengaluru city, Karnataka State.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Violent clashes between protesters and security forces are possible.
