2026-01-14: According to the latest information, fighting took place on Tuesday (13 January) at several points along the border between the Kurdish SDF’s sphere of influence and the Syrian government’s allies. SDF units are said to have attempted to advance near Maadan (Raqqa), killing at least one fighter and injuring several others. Near the Tishrin Dam, Syrian troops are said to have attacked the village of Hajji Hassan with a drone. Meanwhile, the SDF has imposed a curfew on Raqqa and Tabqa, which is to apply until further notice between 10 pm and 6 am (local time).
