Update 2026-06-12: At least one protester was killed, and several others were injured on Thursday (11 June) following clashes between protesters and security personnel during a region-wide shutdown strike at Eidgah Ground, the outskirts of Rawalakot and at other protest sites to the north and south, Azad Jammu Kashmir. The confrontation reportedly began when security forces moved to remove roadblocks.
