Update 2026-07-17: As of Friday (17 July), US airstrikes targeted multiple locations across Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khuzestan, and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces, striking a residential neighbourhood and the Bandar Abbas Railway Junction Station in Bandar Abbas, the Kehvarstan Bridge and Bandar Abbas–Shiraz bridge near Bandar Khamir, Iranshahr Airport (IHR) in Iranshahr, and areas near Ahvaz, while explosions were also reported on Qeshm Island, in Sirik, and Bushehr. Several people were killed, and several others were injured, with the strikes causing damage to transport and electrical infrastructure, including power outages in parts of Hormozgan Province.
