2026-08-07: Pakistani security forces killed multiple suspected militants during two intelligence-based counterterrorism operations in Washuk and Mastung districts, Balochistan, on Wednesday (5 August) and Thursday (6 August). According to the military, six militants were killed in each operation, and a militant hideout was destroyed in Mastung. The operations formed part of the ongoing Rad-ul-Fitna-3 campaign.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Armed clashes are possible during arrests of terror suspects. Travellers are advised to exercise high caution, to strictly avoid operations of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
