2026-08-11: On Tuesday (11 August), heavy rains will cause flooding in many areas of Quang Tri. Provincial Road 586 is flooded in several places, and more very heavy rainfall is expected. The effects of the new rainfall are expected primarily in Lao Bao, Tan Lap, Dakrong, Khe Sanh, and Huong Phung.
Traffic disruptions are to be expected, floods and landslides are possible. Travellers should exercise heightened caution, especially near rivers and mountainslopes, and follow instructions by authorities.
