2026-08-13: During the night from Wednesday to Thursday (12–13 August, local time), Ukrainian drones were reported over the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Orenburg, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Tula, Ulyanovsk, Moscow, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, and Krasnodar. Most were intercepted. Damage was reported in the towns of Nizhnyaya Kovaleva and Volchensky, as well as in the industrial area of Salavat in Bashkortostan. Several people were injured.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Ongoing armed clashes are to be expected. Travellers are advised to exercise high caution, to strictly avoid operations of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
