Update 2021-10-06: According to media reports, more than 40 security forces were killed and 30 others injured in an attack by separatists on a military convoy in Gangaw Township in Magwe Region on Tuesday evening (05 October, local time). In addition, several military vehicles were destroyed by IEDs. Another attack occurred on the Gangaw-Kale Highway, where vehicles were destroyed and security forces were killed.
