2022-01-17: According to media reports, on Monday (17 January), Houthi rebels conducted several suspected drone attacks that caused at least two fires in the capital city Abu Dhabi. Among others, three fuel trucks exploded in the Musaffah industrial area and another fire broke out at a construction site near the Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Ongoing armed clashes are to be expected. Travellers are advised to exercise high caution, to strictly avoid operations of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
