Update 2022-05-16 (2): As a reaction to the decision of the FCDO to advise against all-non essential travel to Sri Lanka, the company TUI has cancelled all flights to the country until Tuesday (31 May).
Update 2022-05-16 (1): Media reported, that on Monday (16 May), the government of Sri Lanka announced, that it would have petrol stocks for only one day left. The country would not be able to finance petrol imports at the moment.
