2022-08-01: On Monday (1 August) began a month-long strike of tourism facilities in the National Park Komodo. The reason for the strike is an entrance fee for the national park, which had increased eighteenfold. The islands affected are Komodo and Padar in Nusa Tenggara Timur. According to reports, at least 700 employees are participating.
