Update 2022-08-08: According to media reports, Haikou, the capital of Hainan Island, was also affected by a curfew lasting several hours (7 am to 8 pm local time) on Monday (8 August). The metropolis is located at the northern end of the island, while the hotspot of the current outbreak, the tourist resort of Sanya, is at the southern end.
