Update 2022-08-31: According to media reports, parts of the megacity of Guangzhou have also been affected by lockdown measures since Wednesday (31 August). Initially, schools and restaurants were closed and public transport was reduced to a minimum. Further restrictive measures are expected. Restrictions also remain in force in Shenzhen and Dalian.
