Update 2022-09-19 (2): Reportedly, until now, minor damage has been witnessed in Mexico City, while in the city of Manzanillo in Colima State, at least one person has been killed by falling debris. In the capital, power outages occurred and a subway line had to be evacuated.
Update 2022-09-19 (1): Media reported on Monday (19 September), that evacuations have taken place for buildings along the Paseo de la Reforma in the business district as well as the downtown area of Mexico City. No damage has been reported yet.
