2022-11-14: According to the sources, several people were killed while many houses were burnt during an operation carried out by Military council troops in Sin Ingyi village in Ponnagyun township under Sittwe District in Rakhine State on Thursday (10 November). Nearby villages of Ponnagyun were also reportedly attacked following the attack on two military vehicles by Arakan Army (AA). Inn Din village was also damaged.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Ongoing armed clashes are to be expected. Travellers are advised to exercise high caution, to strictly avoid operations of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
