2022-11-14: According to the sources, several military personnel were killed while a person was injured following an attack on the Military council soldiers who were guarding the Myanmar Economic Bank in Myinmu Township, Sagaing on Friday (11 November). Crossfire between the Military Council soldiers and the attackers was also reported; however no casualties reported from the perpetrator side.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Ongoing armed clashes are to be expected. Travellers are advised to exercise high caution, to strictly avoid operations of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
