Update 2022-12-07: After 68 cities were briefly affected by complete or partial lockdowns at the beginning of September 2022, the strict measures of the so-called “Zero Covid” strategy were relaxed on Wednesday (7 December). From this date on, lockdown measures will only be imposed on individual buildings instead of entire districts or cities. Lockdowns are to end in future when no new cases have been registered in five days. Infected persons may now also isolate themselves at home.
