Update 2022-12-12: According to the sources, the military council on Sunday (11 December) at around 7:30 pm (local time) fired shells towards Taung Lain village in Kawkareik township under Karen State. Reportedly, two houses were damaged by fire on the west of the hospital hill in Taung Lain. However, no casualties were reported. Meanwhile, the bridge over the Hong Tharo river located between the villages of Taungwain and Northwain has reportedly been blocked by the military council.
