Update 2023-12-07: The European Union’s border protection agency Frontex announced on Thursday (7 December) that it would deploy around 50 border guards at the Finnish-Russian border. They are to be stationed at the border until the end of January. Finland accuses Russia of deliberately bringing migrants to the Finnish border.
