Update 2023-12-19 (3): According to the sources from Tuesday (19 December), dozens of people, including security officials, were injured following violent clashes after security forces used tear gases to disperse the crowd. The first clash was reported at around 12:30 pm (local time) on the Bogura-Rangpur highway in Jundah in the Palashbari Sub-district of Gaibandha District, Rangpur Division. Another clash was reported at around 8:30 am (local time) in the Senbagh Road area in the Senbagh Sub-district of Noakhali District, Chittagong Division. However, the situation is brought under control by the security forces.

Update 2023-12-19 (2): According to media reports, protesters in Gulistan (Dhaka) set a bus on fire on Tuesday (19 December). The incident took place at 1 pm (local time) near the General Post Office and no injuries have been reported so far.

Update 2023-12-19 (1): According to media reports on Tuesday (19 December), several people were killed in a train fire in the early hours of the morning (local time). According to BNP leaders, the incident, which took place at Tejgaon station (Dhaka) and claimed at least four lives, was arson.
