2024-04-01: A strike has been called on Monday (15 April) at around 6 am to 10 am (local time) by the aviation firefighters across the country, due to concerns over the safety of air travelers.
Heightened security measures as well as disruptions to traffic and public life are to be expected. Violent clashes between protesters and security forces are possible. Travellers are advised to exercise caution, to strictly avoid demonstrations, road blockades, large gatherings, and deployments of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
