Update 2024-04-02: According to reports, the CGIL and UIL unions have called for a countrywide general strike on 11 April. Rail services will be suspended between 9:01 am and 1 pm (local time) on 11 April. Local public transport (including buses) will be suspended for four hours during the strike as well. The timing and extent of the local public transport strike will vary from city-to-city. In Milan, metro, tram, and bus services will all be impacted by the strike. Maritime workers will also participate in the strike. Further disruptions cannot be ruled out.
