Update 2024-05-02: Hundreds of leftists and autonomists gathered for a demonstration on Wednesday (1 May) at around 6 pm (local time) at Hauptwache, Frankfurt, Hesse State, under the theme “May 1st – prices down! Stop rearmament!” Despite the city’s prohibition, some demonstrators wore tube scarves and ignited pyrotechnics, leading to a temporary halt of the march on Kurt-Schumacher-Straße by the Security forces. Reportedly, at least one security official was slightly injured following the demonstration, while the event concluded peacefully around 9:30 pm (local time) near Taunusanlage/Junghofstraße.
