Update 2021-08-12: According to information from the Federal Foreign Office, the quarantine period can be extended to up to 21 days, depending on the risk classification of the country of origin. Currently, a quarantine period of 21 days applies to travellers from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan. The cost of multiple mandatory COVID-19 PCR tests on entry and during quarantine must be borne by the travellers.
