2022-08-24: According to the sources, many casualties were reported on Monday (22 August) following an armed clash between the Taliban fighters and Uzbekistan border guards in Shortepa District of Balkh Province. As per reports, the fighting emerged after the Uzbek army shot down Afghan men who went to the border strip to collect liquorice.
