2023-02-07: On Thursday (9 February) there will be an all-day strike of the employees of the transport company DSW21 in Dortmund, Castrop-Rauxel and Lünen. This will result in the total cancellation of city buses and streetcars in Dortmund. The local transport services of Deutsche Bahn and other transport companies are not affected by the strike.
If the strike proceeds as scheduled and is followed by enough workers, local traffic disruptions are to be expected. Before and after official strike hours, disruptions are also possible due to organisational reasons. Travellers should schedule additional time for their journey.
