Taiwan, Severe Weather, Level 3: Disruptions due to the passing of Typhoon Saola – Taiwan [Update 6]

Update 2023-08-30: According to reports, southern areas of the country were impacted by strong winds and heavy rainfall due to Typhoon Saola on Wednesday morning (30 August, local time). It has been reported that dozens of flights were cancelled on Wednesday (30 August) as a result. Reportedly, Pingtung County is expected to be the most impacted by the storm. As of Wednesday morning (30 August, local time), the typhoon was located around 178 km southwest of Taiwan in the Luzon Strait.
